DALE CARNEGIE LEADERSHIP CERTIFICATION
Upon being promoted to a leadership position at Agropur Inc. I had to undergo mandatory leadership training. I took this as an opportunity to learn all that I could about leadership, interpersonal communication, and team building. The class focused on addressing, building, and practicing active leadership skills and the homework was to put these skills into implementation. This Certificate taught me that leadership skills are not just some trick; having a genuine interest in your team and objectives facilitate success.
This Certificate consisted of weekly classes and assignments from January to May 2014.
August 2014 - August 2015
CERTIFICATE IN ADVANCED INTERNATIONAL AFFAIRS
Certification from the Bush School of Government and Public Service. The program consisted of four graduate level classes consisting of studies in American Foreign Policy and National Security Policy. I took the opportunity to get an certificate emphasis in Intelligence through classes in Political Violence and Terrorism and the Role of Intelligence.
Each class consisted of two weekly assignments and active group discussion. There were also two large papers in lieu of a mid-term and final examination.
I completed the Certificate with a 3.5 GPA.
August 2015 - May 2017
DEAN'S LEADERSHIP CERTIFICATE
Completed courses, assessments, and projects on leadership styles and leadership application while at the Bush School of Government and Public Service. Classes consisted of Leadership in International Affairs and International Crisis Management. In these classes I completed an Individual Leadership Plan that identified my own personal leadership style, approach, and how I can improve as a leader. Courses and workshops completed for this certificate consisted of MBTI and Strengths Quest assessments.
I discovered that I have an ENTP Personality type and that I have a collaborative leadership style that thrives on open communication and the facilitation of ideas.

MEDAL OF EXCELLENCE
The Medal of Excellence required completion of both this ePortfolio as well as the completion of the Leadership Certificate.
The ePortfolio requirements were various reflections that can be read on this site, writing workshops, and consultations all focused on improving writing capabilities and understanding our audience. The Leadership Certificate requirements can be seen above.
