EDUCATION
Education happens in a variety of ways. I have learned both in the classroom and in the real world, and I look to continue my education throughout my life. I understand that I have much to learn, and will have to continuously be open to new ideas, concepts, and perspectives to be the best public servant I can be.

CERTIFICATES
I have augmented my education in the form of Certifications. These certificates range from on the job leadership training to a specified focus in advanced international affairs.

This section investigates the certificate programs that I have been able to participate in as well as the requirements for completion.
CRITICAL THINKING
The ability to take information and consider different perspectives while making an assessment is a vital skill that I have learned through education and on the job training.

This section describes a time that I had to assess a problem based on the literature available, current events, and opposing ideologies, and then write a brief on how best to move forward towards a solution.
COMMUNICATION
Communication is a skill that I have continuously worked on my entire life. The ability to channel a message to a group of people in a clear, concise, and engaging manner is essential to leadership, service, and everyday interaction.

This section describes my desire to perfect both my written and spoken communication as well as give examples of times I was and was not so successful in communication, and how I improved.
LIFELONG LEARNING
I enjoy learning new things. I have actively gone from topic to topic in my free time in a pursuit to increase my knowledge base for both professional and personal reasons. Up to this point I have taken additional lessons in piano, baritone, and saxophone. I have tried my hand at cooking, it turned out ok, and have looked in to languages.

This section describes my future ambitions when it comes to lifelong learning and what I hope to achieve.
